This tradition started in 2014 sometime when I used to get multiple asks per week, sometimes per day, wondering how far along my current stories were, so I started just posting updates every so often. Then I worried that I was spamming people's dashboards and stopped, and received a flurry of worried readers wondering why I had, so I re-started!
